Jack L. Moore, 74, of Elyria passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born September 13, 1946. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Jack enjoyed fishing, restoring cars, and turkey shoots, but especially being with family. Survivors include his wife of 51 years Patricia (nee Rogers); daughters, Colleen Turrill of Elyria, Meghan (David) Herron of Wellington; son, Jack (Karen) Moore of Columbia Station; grandchildren, Alexis, Rory, Gavin, David and Emma; sister, Betty Welch of Amherst. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel L. and Sylvia M. Moore; sister Norene Hoover. Family will receive friends 4 PM until time of Military Honors provided by VFW post # 1079 at 7 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. Memorial Mass 10 AM Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, Ohio 44035, social distancing will be observed in the Funeral Home and Church. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
