Jack May,95, of Elyria passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born January 19, 1925 in Big Creek, WV. Jack proudly served his Country in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Jack worked in the coal mines for 11 years in Logan County, WV. and for General Motors for 27 years. He was an avid Cleveland Sports fan and could often be seen by his neighbors and passersby sitting on his patio watching his favorite sporting event. Survivors include his daughter Rhonda (Bill) Kerzie of N. Canton; son Rodney of Elyria; 31 nieces and nephews, the family would like to give special thanks to his nephews Billy, Buddy & Bobby May and also to his best friend and neighbor James Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Elizabeth May (nee Estep); 6 brothers and 3 sisters. All Visitation, services and burial are private. In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations in Jack's name to Patios for Patriots 133 N. Kohler Rd. Orrville, OH. 44667.
