Irene H. Camp, (nee-Krueger), 87, of LaGrange passed away Wednesday February 12, 2020 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born November 10, 1932 in North Ridgeville and was a LaGrange resident for most of her life. A homemaker, Irene enjoyed flower gardening, traveling, camping and spending time with her family. Survivors include her sons, Rick Camp, Ron (Anita) Camp, Randy Camp, Jeff Camp and Jerry (Bridgette) Camp; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" on December 28, 2017, a granddaughter, Amy Camp, sisters, Luella Shaw, Mildred Kettle, Margaret Morris and Pauline Markle and brothers, Herman, Wilbur, Al and Paul Krueger. The family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday February 19, 2020 in the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Weldon, Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Elyria will Officiate. Burial will follow at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 1079 500 Abbe Rd. Elyria, OH. 44035.
