Ida M. Williams, (nee-Wilson), 93, of Elyria passed away Tuesday at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin following a brief illness. She was born February 25, 1918 in Morgan County, KY., And was a Elyria resident for most of her life. A homemaker, Ida was a member of Jesus Christ Community Church in Elyria and attended Kipton Community Church. She enjoyed quilt making and sewing. Survivors include her daughters, Priscilla (Gene) Ronez of Amherst, Minnie Sue (James) Gevedon of Morgan County, KY., Dolores Colella of Elyria and Ada Jo (Paul) Matti of Spencer; son, Jerry Williams of Elyria; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Williams in 1994, a daughter, Avonelle Roach in 1998, 4 sisters, and 4 brothers. The family will receive friends Thursday, (today), 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. 440-322-4626. Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Lee Stahl, pastor of Kipton Community Church will Officiate. Burial will be at North Murray Ridge Cemetery, Elyria.
