Howard D. "Butch" Lynch 69 of Elyria passed away suddenly Tuesday September 6, 2016 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1946 in Bridgeport, West Virginia . Howard worked in construction for maintenance systems. He enjoyed cars , motorcycles , the Pittsburgh Steelers , his family , and a Love for animals. Survivors include his sons Howard (Bonnie) of Crossville, Tennessee , John of Elyria , grandchildren Ashley , Travis , Kailey , great-grandchildren Arie , and Brayln , sisters Retha (William) Ball of Amherst , Joyce (Joseph) Spatafore of Bridgeport, W.Va. , Tina Farley of Pikeville, Ky. , Mary Metzgar of Bridgeport , W. Va , and Robin Lewis of Bridgeport , W.Va., many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary (nee Ellison), brother Claude. Family will receive friends 1-4 PM Saturday September 10, 2016 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57 ), Elyria 440-322-4626 , where services will be held at 3:30 PM. Rev. William Ball will officiate. Burial Private.
