Helen M. Walton, (nee-Robinson), 75, of Elyria passed away Sunday August 11, 2019 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born December 13, 1943 in Charleston, WV. And was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Helen worked in the Housekeeping Department at EMH Regional Medical Center for 20 years, retiring in 2006. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James; daughters, Michelle (Marty) Kreutzke and Connie (Jerry) Lapos; sons, Jeff and Robert Walton; 6 grandchildren; sister, Meritta Blankenship and a brother, Otis Robinson. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday August 15, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.
