Helen M. Stahle (nee: Price) passed on Thursday April 26, 2012 of dementia at her daughter's home in Ohio. She was born May 10, 1923 in Belle Grove, MD to WH Harrison Price and Viola Evelyn Barnes Price. Helen was married on January 18, 1943 to Cloyd L. "Joe" Stahle and was a long time resident of Buck Valley, PA. She was a life long farmer and homemaker. Over the years she worked at Beck's Hotel, the local canning factory; Hepburns Orchard, London Fog sewing factory, and Diehls Jewelry. She was a talented seamstress and quilter who also enjoyed needlework. She was a "dead eye" shooting field varmints. Helen was saved when she was twelve, and had attended churches from Piney Plains, MD to Amaranth, PA . Helen was a gold circle member of the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W., and an active supporter of the Buck Valley Park, and The Buck Valley Memorial Association for many years. She is survived by a daughter; Dianne wife to Charles Myers, six grandchildren; Charles, Eva, Justine, Jenna, Jolene, and Jada, eight great grandchildren, three sisters; Gladys Sigel, June wife to Kenneth Scriever and Yvonne wife to James McLean. Helen was preceded in death by her husband; Cloyd, a daughter; Sandra, a sister; Eileen, a brother; Robert, and a niece; Elton.
