Helen V. Lance, (nee-Fuller), 61, of Sheffield Lake passed away Friday at her home following a long illness. She was born January 9, 1950 in Elyria and was a lifelong Lorain County resident. Helen was a co-owner along with her husband of Lance Top/Cut Lawncare. She was a member of the Church of the Open Door and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and knitting. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Ralph; daughters, Saprina Roig of Elyria and Monica Kilby of North Ridgeville; sons, Eric (Kari) Lance of Lorain and Jason Lance of Lorain; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Jenny Fuller of Dayton and Lillian Vandersommen of Elyria; brothers, Ernie (Loretta) Fuller of LaGrange and Archer (Pat) Fuller of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archer and Jenny Fuller. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 5:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. 440-322-4626.
