Helen B. Kolody, (nee-Krucinski), 90, of Grafton passed away Friday March 27, 2020 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange. She was born December 24, 1929 in Elyria and was a lifelong Lorain County resident. Helen retired from Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin where she worked as a Registered Nurse, attended Abbe Road Baptist Church in Elyria and enjoyed sewing, boating, fishing and needlecraft. Survivors include her daughters, Denise (Kenneth) Zimmerman and Christine (Douglas) Morgan; sons, Michael (Susie) Kolody, Alan (Denise) Kolody and Timothy (Melony) Kolody; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Michael, on February 17, 2020, sisters, Mary Krucinski and Sophie Karbowniczyk and brothers, Anthony, Joseph, Stanley, Johnny, Edward, Frank and Victor Krucinski. Private family services were held. Private burial was at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
