Helen Jones (nee Pawlikowski), 93, of Reynoldsburg, formerly of Elyria passed away Tuesday September 5, 2017, at Columbus Alzheimer's in Columbus. She was born July 6, 1924 in Elyria. Helen was a Registered Nurse , a member of the Eastern Star, a volunteer at EMH, and she earned "Volunteer of the Year" honors from the Elyria Methodist Home. She was an active member of First United Methodist church in Elyria. She enjoyed gardening, knitting , crocheting, sewing, and playing games. Survivors include her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Coffey (Kim Douglas) of Reynoldsburg; son Richard of Killeen, TX.; grandchildren Sarah (Craig), Adam (Lanie), Roberto (Makalah), Samantha and Max; great-grandchildren Lincoln and AJ and Eliana. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Andrew Jones; sisters Annie Melrose, Katie Busiman, and Francie Downey; brothers Michael, Johnny, Frank, and William. Family will receive friends 11 AM until time of Service at 12 Noon Saturday September 9, 2017 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
