Hazel L. Moore-Maloy (nee: Hunt) 70, of Elyria passed away Sunday September 18, 2016 at home following a long illness. She was born August 30, 1946 in Clay County, WV. Hazel retired from General Motors as a Quality Assurance Inspector following thirty nine years of services. She was an accomplished cook and was a graduate of The Pittsburgh Culinary Art School. Hazel enjoyed singing in the church choir, and at family gatherings. Survivors include her husband of ten years; Francis C. "Frank" Maloy, two daughters; Laura M. "Missy" Samples of North Ridgeville, Angela D. Moore of Lorain, a son; William Barry Samples (Cathyrn Cox) of North Ridgeville. Additional survivors include her grandchildren; Chaleyna, Nakita, Douglas "DJ", Samantha, Michael, Heather, Cheryna, Cierah, Quran, Meleyna, and ten great grandchildren, two sisters; Mary Frances of Elyria, Eva Jane of Widen, WV, four brothers; Emery Vernon Summers and Shirley Joe Summers both of Caldwell, OH, Danny Ray Summers, and Bobby Lee Summers both of Widen, WV. Hazel was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Katera D. Perkins, and her parents; William and Bonnie (nee: Brady) Hunt.
