Harry J. Hebebrand, age 92, of Lagrange, Ohio, passed away on October 22, 2025, from complications related to Parkinson's disease.

Born in Elyria on September 22, 1933, to the late Harry and Edna (Albrecht) Hebebrand, he attended Elyria High School and went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career with Parker Hannifin Corporation, where he worked as a tool and die maker for 44 years. He was an active member of the union, taking great pride in his craft and in advocating for his fellow workers.

In 1952, he married the love of his life, Lois (Lear) Hebebrand, and together they raised three children: Lois Carol, Susan K., and John M.

Harry had a lifelong love of farming. He enjoyed buying and selling farm equipment—especially Farmall tractors—and spent many happy days meeting customers at his roadside stand, where he sold pumpkins and strawberries. He took great joy in caring for the family farms of his mother and aunt. In his free time, he loved taking day trips to Amish Country and listening to country music.

Harry was a devoted member of East Oberlin Community Church, where he found fellowship and faith.

He is survived by his daughter Susan (Hebebrand) Gannet; grandsons Bill (Cathy) Gannet and Scott (Jeni) Gannet; and great-grandchildren Kendal and Landon Gannet. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois E. Hebebrand, daughter Lois Carol Hebebrand, and son John M. Hebebrand.

A joint service for Harry and his son John, who passed away just days apart, will be held at Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home on Friday, October 31, 2025. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., and burial at Brookdale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, P.O.
