Harold L. Butcher, 82, of LaGrange, formerly of Florida, passed away on January 10, 2023. He was born to parents; Willard and Virginia (nee: Davidson) on March 23, 1940 in Kanoahead, WV. Harold was a pipefitter for Local 42 in Norwalk for over 40 years. He also owned Butcher Machine in Wellington. Harold proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps and was a member of VFW Post 6279 in Oberlin. Survivors include his daughters, Diane (Dennis) Ross, Jennifer; sons, David (Karen) Thomas, Michael (Jodie), William (Debbie), and Mark (Kim); 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Cathy (nee: Wisniewski); daughter, Michelle; sister, Doreen Rathwell.  Family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 4 PM – 7 PM at Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
