Gwenwin Y. Lake (nee: York) 97, of North Ridgeville (formerly of Elyria) passed away Tuesday October 16, 2012 at The Center Ridge Health Campus in North Ridgeville, following a short illness. She was born May 27, 1915 in Bower, WV, and moved to Elyria in 1980. Gwenwin was a member of Elyria Baptist Church and The Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post# 1079. She was preceded in death by her husband; Von, a stillborn daughter, her parents; George and Dora Ann York, three brothers, two sisters, two newborn sisters, a nephew and nieces. She enjoyed travel, Jolly Sixties, plastic canvas and crossword puzzles.
