Gregory F. Horan, age 69, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023 at his home. He was born on July 22, 1953 in Elyria to parents David and Vivian (nee: Lord). Greg was a 1972 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. He was a self employed mechanic, and worked for Unical and retired from BP. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Susan (nee: Maitland); brother, David L. Horan; brother-in-law, Keith (Jackie) Maitland; nephews, Jeremy Martin, Derek Maitland, Sean Lyons, Joshua Gereke, Matthew Horan; nieces, Kristen Shank, Natalie Maitland; great-nieces, Adi and Sofia Shank.
