Grant R. Hawke, 90, of Elyria passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. He was born July 16 , 1927 in Amherst. Grant worked for General Industries for 43 and a half years. Grant enjoyed gardening, woodworking and was a big Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Survivors include his daughter Susan (Edward) Bungard of Elyria; grandchildren Kelli (Todd) Hicks, Elisa (Andy) Stoner, Melody (Matt) Enfield; 5 great grandchildren; goddaughter Charlene Nichols; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline (nee Kolb); parents Raymond and Katherine Hawke (nee Smith), sister Norma Nichols; brothers Thomas and Jackie.
