Grace Paynter, (nee-Farkas), 80, of Elyria passed away Monday January 15, 2018 at her home following a brief illness. She was born March 12, 1937 in Lorain and was a lifelong area resident. Grace enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Resa Paynter, Kathy Jackson, Deirdre (Charles) Langer, Connie (Christopher) Currier and Susan (Scott) McComas; son, Raymond (Michelle) Paynter Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Tivner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Paynter Sr. and a brother, Joe Farkas. The family will receive friends Tuesday January 23, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
