Obituary

Grace J. Marsico (nee: Jenne) 93, of Vermilion passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Villa Camillus in Columbia Station following a long illness. Grace worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and was the Librarian at St. Agnes School. She participated with the Stephen Ministry Program at Elyria Memorial Hospital. Grace enjoyed family genealogy; her family is of the first families of Lorain County. She was a member of The Third Order of Franciscans. Grace's delight was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed doll collecting, needlework, knitting, and reading. Survivors include a daughter; Maribelle Holly (Dale) of Spencer, four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her husband; Nicholas, a son James Marsico, her parents; William and Etta Belle(nee: Nichols) Jenne, a sister; Helen Fortman, a brother; William Jenne. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday March 9, 2016 at St. Agnes Catholic Church 611 Lake Ave. Elyria where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM. Reverend Father Albert Veigas, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Elyria. Memorial contributions in Grace's memory can be sent to The Third Order of Franciscans C/O St. Anthony Fraternity 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, Ohio 44035. The family would like to thank the staff of Villa Camillus and Hospice of Western Reserve for their loving care of Grace.
