Gizella Ann Makad (nee: Szakacs) left her family peacefully on June 10, 2013 in Burlington, CT. She was born February 1, 1922 in Martins Ferry, OH. Gizella was an extraordinary loving mother who brought smiles to the faces of everyone she touched. She loved crocheting, bingo, trips to the casino, the beauty of New England, but especially being with her family. Survivors include (4) children; Paul (Memory) of Mentor, OH., Linda Bott (the late Robert) of Port Charlotte, FL., Daniel of Cleveland, Debra Padgett (William) of Burlington, CT. Additional survivors include (6) grandchildren, (9) great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. Gizella was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years; John J. Makad.
