Gerard P. Legrand 69, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain on Saturday February 26, 2022. He was born November 1, 1952 in Nancey, France. Gerard was a talented chef and had been a head chef at Lakewood Country Club, Elyria Country Club, The Radisson in North Olmsted, and The Unicorn in Grafton. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Gerard is survived by a son; Anthony C. Legrand (Kristen) of Wellington, and also leaves behind extended family still living in France. Gerard was preceded in death by a son; Eric. A Celebration of Gerard's life will be Saturday March 26, 2022 at AmVets Post #32 11087 Middle Ave. in Elyria. Burial will be private.
