Geraldine M. Kawell (nee: Gawlik) 78, of Elyria Township passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday December 21, 2018 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born September 22, 1940 in Elyria. Geraldine loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for her family, and was an animal lover. Survivors include her husband of fifty two years; Lawrence. Additional survivors include three daughters; Kelly Kawell, Karrie Kawell, Kristine Kawell Sizemore, six grandchildren; Larry, Ashley, Raquel, Tony, Deanna, Shaylee, nine great grandchildren; Jayden, Cameron, Jordan, Iyana, Zahir, Aniyah, Keylee, Harper, Lindsey, a sister; JoAnne Grilli (Lou), two brothers; John Gawlik (Joyce), Michael Gawlik. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Kimberly, her parents; Edward and Laverne (nee: Schmidt) Gawlik, four sisters; Pat Foster, Mary Lou Strahele, Joyce Orzech, Karen Springer, two brothers; Edward Gawlik (Jean), Eugene (Judy).
