Gerald "Jerry" W. Overy 83, of Elyria passed away Saturday December 17, 2016 at St. John Westshore Medical Centerion Westlake following a long illness. He was born November 5, 1933 in Findlay, Ohio. Jerry proudly served his Country in the Army. Survivors include his wife of 23 years Virginia (nee Long); sons Craig of Lorain , Terry (Donna) of LaGrange , Berry (Kathy) of New London; daughter Shelly (Richard) Yeager of W. Salem; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Carol Smith; brothers Carl, Robert , and Larry; his best buddy Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Gail (nee Lauck); sister Darlene Light.
