Gerald G. Hetsler,88, of LaGrange passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at his son's home in Grafton. He was born on November 29, 1933 in Elyria. He was a collector of trucks and had a great sense of humor. Gerald will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army. Gerald was a truck driver for Hetsler Excavating, Jim Knapp trucking, was a teacher at JVS as an AG.  mechanic , and was a heavy equipment mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Betty (nee Giles-Rodick); sons, Perry (Michelle Mitchell), Brian (Ann), Dean (Carrie) and Kenneth (Kelly); daughters, Denise (Sean) Nagle, Marsha (Chris) Taylor; 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Viola Huffman, Patsy (Ben) Lester; brothers, Norman and Paul. He was preceded in death by Ricky Rodick; parents Homer and Roxie Hetsler (nee Abers); sisters in law Bev Hetsler and Pat Hetsler; brother in law Bob Huffman.
