Genowefa Bzdak (nee: Poslad) 79, of North Ridgeville passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 9, 2014 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1934 in Poland and came to the area in 1965. Genowefa was a member of St. Mary Church. She was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking and baking. Survivors include four daughters; Barbara Edwards (Jack) of Nova, Donna Howard of Parma, Krystyna Kosobodzki of North Ridgeville, Theresa Blascak (Tim) of Grafton, three sons; Richard (Maria) of Seville, Mickey (Beata) of Parma, Walter of Avon Lake. Additional survivors include eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren. Genowefa was preceded in death by her husband in 1999; Kazimierz, and a son; Stanley in 1998.
