Gayle Marie Kasper (nee: Raffath) 66, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 5, 2014 at University Hospitals of Elyria. She was born March 16, 1948 in Lorain, and was an Admiral King High School graduate. Gayle was the Director of Little People's Palace Daycare in Lorain. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Gayle enjoyed singing in the St. Jude Church Choir and Sweet Adeline's. She also like to travel. Survivors include a daughter; Cheryl J. Fridenstine (Chip) of Oberlin, two sons; Dennis M. Kasper (Charise) of Medina, Eric J. Kasper (Katie) of Elyria. Additional survivors include seven grandchildren; Hannah, Alexander, Elizabeth, Gabriel, Alayna, Henry, Ella, and her former husband; James Kasper of Grafton. Gayle was preceded in death by her parents; Earl and Frances (nee: Grubic) Raffath, and a sister; Jean Raffath.
