Gary G. Wheeler, 66, of Elyria passed away Tuesday October 12, 2021 at his home following a brief illness. He was born June 10, 1955 in Conneaut, OH. And was an Elyria resident for most of his life. Gary worked as a plant manager at the former Thomasson Potato Chip Company in Elyria for many years. Following that he worked at the King Nut Company in Solon and also at I.T.C. Seasoning Company in Elyria. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and was known as a "fix-it-man". He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda (nee-Holtwick); niece, Kim Hamm and 2 great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha Wheeler, brothers, Jim and William Wheeler, canine companions, Scooter and Jitney and parakeet, Chip. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be announced at a later date and burial will be private.
