Gary D. Sweet, 81, of Columbia Station passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at his home following a brief illness. He was born August 5, 1939 in North Ridgeville and was a North Ridgeville resident for most of his life. A 1957 North Ridgeville High School graduate, Gary was a self-employed farmer and a member of Grace Church in Middleburgh Heights. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Terry (nee-Dunham); daughter, Kelly (John) Boland; son, Brian (Brenda) Sweet; 6 grandchildren; sister, Norma (Bob) Fortune. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Colin Boland and his parents, Harold and Lorna Sweet. There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 2, 2021 at Grace Church 7393 Pearl Rd. Middleburgh Heights. Pastor Jonathon Schaeffer will Officiate. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the church.
