Gary A. Nash, 68, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at his home. He was born in Elyria on July 12, 1956 to parents Donald and Ruth (nee: Burgenheim) Nash. After graduating from Midview High School in 1974, he proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Gary worked as an electrician at Elyria City School until his retirement. He had a vast vocabulary, which he used to his advantage when playing word games, such as Scrabble, with friends and family. Survivors include his sister, Pamela (Nolan) True; and brother, Kevin Nash. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brett. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at North Eaton Christian Church 35895 Royalton Road in Grafton. Reverend David T. Chafin will officiate.  A private burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Gary's name can be sent to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
