Gary G. Alheit Sr., 70, of Elyria passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at his home. He was born November 6, 1951 in Elyria. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing and muscle cars. Survivors include his wife of 23 years Roberta "Robin" (nee Elbert); sons, Gary Alheit Jr. (Nicole Wagner), Cliff Alheit , David Elbert (Rebecca Dowdell); grandchildren, Arianna, Abigail, Madelyn, Noah, Alec, Tessa, Hailey, Alex and Connor; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Resar, Marsha Diggers; brothers, Randy (Joyce), Jeff (Sandra), Dale (Julie). He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Barbara Alheit (nee Pasenow). A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
