Gary A. Smith, age 68, of North Ridgeville, passed away on May 5, 2023. Gary was born in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Aubrey and Clara (nee: Hash) on August 18, 1954. He graduated from Midview High School in 1972 and later married his high school sweetheart, Rosalie Sue (nee: Houston) on July 1, 1974. Gary worked for Ford Motor Co. for many years as a pipefitter. In his spare time, he could be found on the golf course, camping, on vacation, or playing cards. He was an avid dog lover. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Tisha Ray; sons, Mark and Rodney; sister, Monica Garfield; grandchildren, Makenzie Meadows and Dalton Ray; nieces, Kristie Garfield, Laura (Ryan) Rieth; great-nieces, Mia, Kinslee; great-nephews, Bryce and Braydon; and beloved dog, Tyson.
