Garry L. Tribble 82, of Elyria passed away Saturday September 28, 2024 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake following a long illness. He was born April 13, 1942 in Owens, WV.  Garry served in the U.S. Army, and retired from General Motors working as a tow motor operator.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was a baseball umpire.  Survivors include his wife of fifteen years; Vangeline R. (nee: Parsons), a daughter; Denise Linkopus (Emmett), two sons; Michael Tribble (Shannon), Garry Tribble (Heather), additional survivors include four grandchildren; Jordan, Taylor, Robert, Garry, a sister; Betty Dodd.  Garry was preceded in death by his first wife: Judy D.  (nee: Sauer),his parents; Wallace Emery and Nancy Ann (nee: Watson) Tribble, five sisters; Marie, Myrtle, Patty, Genny, Victoria, six brothers; David, Jack, Larry, Norman, Billy, Herman.  Graveside services will be 12:00 PM  Noon Tuesday October 8, 2024 at Resthaven Memory Gardens 3700 Center Rd. Avon, OH 44011.  Pastor Gary Dorsey will officiate. V.F.W. Post #1079 will provide military honors.
