Garnett M. Samples (nee Cogar), 88, of Grafton passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. She was born April 10, 1934 in Bomont, WV She enjoyed flowers, taking family videos, and she also donated to many charities. Garnett worked for Majestic Plastics as a machine operator. She had a warm heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her family meant the world to her. Survivors include her sons, Kester Jr. (Karen), Kerry, and David ( Robin); 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband Kester Sr. in 2016; son, Lonnie; parents Fred and Minnie Cogar (nee Arthur); 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Family will receive friends from 11 AM until time of service at 1PM Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
