Gail M. McConnell (nee: Sutton) 73, of Grafton passed away Thursday July 28, 2022 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a long illness. She was born October 29, 1948 in Kaylor, PA.  Gail treasured spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and cooking.  Survivors include her husband of thirty five years; Richard L. McConnell, two daughters; Vanessa M. Immel (Matthew) of Sugarcreek, OH., Angel L. Cassese-Bender (Andy) of Woodstock, GA., additional survivors include three grandchildren; Helena, Olivia, Alexus, two sisters; Beverly Rogers (Ron) of Masury, OH., Joan Dolby of Kissimmee, FL., and a brother; Robert Sutton of Pennsylvania.  Gail was preceded in death by her parents; Ira and Martha (nee: Hegenbotham) Sutton, two sisters; Gloria and Kay, and a brother; Jim.  The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Monday August 1, 2022 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
