Gail R. LaMar, (nee-Hawley), 55, of Elyria passed away Thursday at her home following a long illness. She was born January 25, 1956 in Cleveland and was a Grafton/Elyria resident for most of her life. Gail enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Phillip; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Hall of Elyria; son, Jason (Jessica) Thompson of Wellington; 5 grandchildren, Jason Jr., Zachary, Dakota, Joey Jr. and Dylan; sisters, Nat Ann Seiler of Grafton, Clara Mandell of LaGrange, and Glennette Feller of Elyria; brothers, Gerald Hawley of Elyria and John Hawley of Brockton, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glendon and Clementna Hawley and a brother, Glendon Hawley Jr.. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. 440-322-4626.
