Freda Marie Spinks, (nee-Martin), 66, of LaGrange passed away Tuesday November 8, 2011 at her home following a long illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 11, 1945 in Elyria and was a lifelong area resident. Freda was a 1963 Keystone High School graduate, and attended Bowling Green State University. She was a licensed Insurance Agent for Neale Phypers Insurance Co. in both Elyria and Independence for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling , and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Rick, daughter, Kellie (Josh) Grieger of Chapel Hill, NC.; son, Scott (Julie) Spinks of Philadelphia, PA.; granddaughter, Addyson; grandson, Ayden; sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Tipple of LaGrange and Nancy Martin of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Martin 1998 and mother, Josephine Martin in 2007. The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. 440-322-4626. Closing prayers will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 708 Erie St., Grafton. The Rev. Fr.
