Obituary

Frankie C. Ramares 84 of N. Ridgeville passed away peacefully on April 15, 2015. Frank was a 1949 graduate of Plainview-Rover High School in Plainview, Arkansas and self-educated in electronics and appliance repair. He served as an Army PFC copmmunications expert in Korea. After discharge from the Army , he worked as a telegrapher for the Missouri Pacific , Southern Pacific and Rock Island railroads. He also worked as a television and appliance repairman in his own business. He could repair anything. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years , Wynell Ramares , they both loved travelling this great Country of the United States of America. Together they saw the beauty of many places and had amazing adventures. Frank accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior when he was in his 60's. Because of that he has begun the greatest adventure of all and is now standing in the presence of his Savior and seeing the love of his life as never before. His favorite song was Amazing Grace and anything that Wynell played. He loved to hear her play the piano. He was a member of First Baptist Church Okmulgee. Oklahoma. He was attending Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Elyria. He is also preceded in death by his sister Dale Chatman and grandson Tommy Wilkins. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law Deley Lou (Troy) Sulton of N. Ridgeville , Judy (Mike) Wilkins of Okmulgee,, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren Michael , Joy , Tressie, and Ted and Terri and Billy , five great-grandchildren Grace , Max , Alex , Lauren and Reagan , his brother and sister-in-law John and Phyllis Ramares and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Louise and Ikey Scott. For God so loved the world , that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have everlasting life. John 3:16. Amazing Grace When we've been there ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun We've no less days to sing God's praise Then when we first begun. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Lorain County Cremation Services of Elyria 440-322-4626 , with Pastor Darrell Myers officiating.
