Frank George Majoras 86, of Oberlin (formerly of Eaton Twp.) passed away Monday November 23, 2015 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin, OH following a long illness. He was born March 18, 1929 in Elyria and was raised in Lorain. Frank was a 1948 Lorain High School graduate, then served in the U.S. Army in 1950 to 1952 during the Korean War. He was a Tool and Die maker for General Motors retiring after thirty five years of service. Frank was a member of The Commemorative Air Force at Lorain County Airport, Liberty Air Museum, and V.F.W. Post #1079. He enjoyed flying aircraft, bowling, boating, fishing, and hunting. Survivors include his wife; Betty (nee: Smith), a daughter; Annette Majoras of Midway, KY, a son; Frank of Oberlin, two grandchildren; Gina and Jennifer, (2) great grandchildren, and a brother; Albert Majoras (Mary) of Eaton Twp. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Frieda (nee: Penzes) Majoras and a brother; Dennis Majoras.
