Frances S. Zakrzewski, (nee-Thome), 93 of Elyria passed away Monday at the Elyria Wesleyan Village following a long illness. She was born March 10, 1921` in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Frances was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria and enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. Survivors include her son Peter Zakrzewski of Elyria and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard in 2001 and brothers, Chris and Leonard "Bud" Thome. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday June 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. The Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Church.
