Fran Slack (nee: Luf) 67, of Grafton passed away at home on September 5, 2013 following a short illness. She was born October 13, 1945 in Cleveland. Fran was a member of North Eaton Christian Church. She was a 1963 Midview High School graduate, and retired as a cook from Kesystone Schools following twenty four years of service. Fran treasured time with family and friends; she enjoyed playing cards and travel. Survivors include a daughter; Michelle M. Vanek (Dale) of Strongsville, a son; Jeremy K. of Grafton, three grandchildren; Steven, Lauren, Jeralynn, additonal survivors include a sister; Barbara J. Hignett (Gary) of Grafton, a brother; Joseph A. Luf (Patricia) of Columbia Station. Fran was preceded in death by her husband; Richard G., and her parents Joseph and Mary (nee: Litto) Luf.
