Forrest A. Fitzwater, 94, of Grafton passed away Monday September 23, 2013 at the Elyria Wesleyan Village following a brief illness. He was born December 12, 1918 in Belington, WV. and was a Grafton resident since 1953. Forrest worked at the Ford Motor Co. in Brookpark for 25 years, retiring as a foreman in 1975. He was a member of the Hinkson-Hysell Post 3341 Post of the V.F.W. was a avid outdoorsman and as a young man served with the Conservation Corps at Camp Copperhead, WV. Survivors include his daughter, Loverenne (Romey) Hardway of Elyria; sons, Edward (Gayle) Fitzwater of Avon Lake and Noble (Kathy) Fitzwater of Belington, WV.; grandchildren, Jim, Mike and Brian Fitzwater, Richard Hardway and Laura Fry, and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Neva in 1998 and 3 sisters. All Services will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor's choice.
