Fondie Nan Perkins (nee: Teaster), 86, of Elyria, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025 at Life Care in Elyria. She was born in Willis Branch, West Virginia on September 6, 1938 to parents Starlen and Edith "Estella" (nee: Paschal). After graduating from Beckley Junior College, Fondie worked for Champion Dairy Pak for many years. She was fun, artistic, a lover of music, clocks and birds. Fondie enjoyed working in her yard in her spare time. She will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her daughters; Catherine (Salvadore) Lovano and Karen Lynn Perkins; step-daughters, Susan (Mark) Mayer, Mary Yost; son, Tim Perkins; sister, Starlena Kay (Roger) Fitch, brother, Marshall (Gayle) Teaster, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judy Settles.

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service at 4:30p.m. at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria. Burial will be private.
