Florence H. Wynieski, (nee-Tarnoske), 88, of Grafton passed away Tuesday April 10, 2012 at her home. She was born June 27, 1923 in Elyria and was a lifelong Grafton area resident. Florence graduated from Eaton High School in 1941, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, and was a 1942 graduate of the Oberlin Business College. She owned the Letter Shop in Elyria from 1955 until 1966 and later worked at the Thew Shovel Co. and retired from the Nordson Corporation in 1986. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, and was a fan of NASCAR Racing and Cleveland Indians Baseball. Survivors include her daughters, Rosemary (Bob) Lane of Elyria, Jean Wynieski of Grafton and Sue (Wendell) Lawson of LaGrange; son, Anthony (Mary Lynn) of Elyria; grandchildren, James Walter (Jackie) Lane of Elyria, Angela (Jeff) Rea of West Salem, Justin Wynieski of Elyria and Ashley Wynieski of Elyria; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn and Olivia Rea and Gabe Connelly; sister, Genevieve (Leland) Hardy of Grafton. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1970. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
