Fay A. Bowman (nee Yost),87, a resident of LaGrange Township, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at O'Neill Healthcare in N. Ridgeville following a short illness. She was born March 26, 1934 in Elyria. She was raised in North Ridgeville, graduating from North Ridgeville High School in 1952. Fay lived a meaningful and full life. She touched many lives with her kindness and love. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She liked attending her grandchildren's activities. Fay enjoyed being outdoors and loved her flowers. She attended Church of the Open Door and sang in the choir. She was employed by Bendix, and was a teacher's aide at McKinley School in Elyria for many years. Survivors include her sons, Jeff (Lisa) Bowman, Greg (Darlene) Bowman and David (Jackie) Bowman; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-Grandchildren who she loved dearly. Her brother Dale Yost and sister Joy Byers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bowman of 50 years; parents Ralph and Olive Yost (nee Zaluad). Services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family suggests those who wish may make donations to American Cancer Society or Church of the Open Door.
