Evelyn Jeffries (nee: Stewart) 80, of Elyria passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on January 8, 2013 following a long illness. She was born April 5, 1932 in Clay County, WV. Evelyn's grandchildren meant the world to her, she enjoyed spending time with family, and reading. Survivors include a daughter; Connie "Sue" Jeffries of Elyria, a granddaughter; Samantha Fugitt (Brian) of Elyria, and (3) great grandchildren; Andrew Jeffries, Austin and Abigail Fugitt. Additional survivors include brothers and sisters; Kathleen, Emma Lou, Douglas, Anna Mae, Daphne, Alberta, Betty, and Denver. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty four years; Warren, a brother; Junior, and a sister; Judy, her parents; Albert and Gladys (nee: Nichols) Stewart.
