Eugene Tinney 85, of Columbia Station passed away Thursday October 31, 2013 at his home following a long illness. He was born November 17, 1927 in Braxton Co., WV. Eugene worked for Lakewood Manufacturing for twenty eight years as a tow motor operator. Survivors include a daughter; Wanda J. Carter of Litchfield, two sons; Jerry L. Tinney (Tamara) of LaGrange, Michael P. Tinney (Teresa) of Wakeman, additional survivors include four step daughters; Christine Moore, Debra Stanberry, Jenny Herron, Louella Recina, a step son; Danny Loop, seven grandchildren; Terry Morgan, Carissa Shaffer, Jeremy Tinney, Robert Tinney, Jennifer Vance, Stephanie Tinney, Mike Wilms, and thirteen great grandchildren. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife; Lucille Tinney (nee: Lilly), his parents; Lloyd and Samantha Tinney (nee: Long). All services are private.
