Eugene E. Burdette 88, of Columbia Station passed away at home on Sunday August 6, 2017. He was born June 20, 1929 in Charleston, WV. Eugene was a proud member of Laborers Local 310; he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and tinkering in his garage. Survivors include his wife of fifteen years; Jacqueline (nee: Ryan ), three daughters; Darlene "Sue" Wells of Elyria, Paula Dobeck of Avon, Margaret "Peggy" Pettry (Scott) of Columbia Station, two sons; Steve (Joan) of North Ridgeville, Mark (Mary) of Wadsworth. Additional survivors include numerous grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a brother; Larry (Donna) of Perrysville, OH. Eugene was preceded in death by his first wife; Shirley Jean (nee: Card), a sister; Norma Smith, and a brother; Danny. Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Tuesday August 8, 2017 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
