Obituary

Ernest E. Wade, 80, of North Eaton passed away Monday May 21,, 2012 at West Bay Care and Rehabilitation Center in Westlake following a 3 year illness. He was born May 29, 1931 in Burnwell, WV. And was a North Eaton resident since 1957. Ernest was employed by Teledyne Republic in Brookpark for 40 years, retiring as a foreman. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, was a member of the North Eaton Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking. Survivors include his daughters, Donna Krumwiede of Lutz, Fl. And Nancy McQuate of Wellington; sons, Gary of North Ridgeville, Chuck of Elyria, David of Oberlin and Dana of Painsville; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur P. Wade of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 2010, sisters, Nancy Lucas and Ernestine Wade, and brothers, Kyle Jr., Leon, Ronald, Ralph, and Dana. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt.57), Elyria. 440-322-4626. The Rev. Steven Carter, pastor of North Eaton Baptist Church will Officiate. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp., where members of V.F.W.
