Erda M. Romans 85, of Elyria passed away at home Monday February 11, 2013 following a long illness. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Education from Marshall University, and was a retired school teacher. Erda loved playing with her grandchildren, travel, cooking and sewing. Survivors include four sons; Melvin O. Romans, John L. Romans, Wade E. Romans, Steven V. Romans, and a daughter; Jacqlyn Whisenhunt,. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Erda was preceded in death by her husband of sixty two years; Jack E., her parents, a sister and a brother.
