Emily A. Walker 78, of Elyria formerly of Columbia Station passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 2, 2015 at University Hospitals of Cleveland. She was born November 13 , 1936 in Berea. Emily was a graduate of Columbia High School. She worked for Julian W. Perkins as a bookkeeper for 47 years. Emily enjoyed camping , gardening , sprint car races and she was also Treasurer of the RC model boat racing club. Survivors include her partner of 40 years Walter Casper , brothers Robert (Joann) of Lima , David ( Kathy) of Aurora, West Virginia, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Stella (nee Brigham). Family will receive friends 11AM-1PM Thursday August 6, 2015 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
