Elvera A. Jolley, (nee-Schroeder), 93, of Elyria passed away Tuesday April 3, 2012 at EMH Healthcare following a brief illness. She was born June 13, 1918 in Elyria and was a Elyria resident for most of her life. Elvera was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Elyria where she was active with the Women's Guild. She enjoyed bowling, reading and traveling. Survivors include her daughters, Karen (Tom) Mitchell of Elyria, Cheryl (Mike) Fenik of Wellington and Diane (Bob) Krugman of Vermilion; son, Earl (Janis) Jolley of Elyria; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Bud" Jolley, son, Ronald Jolley and a brother Leroy Schroeder. The family will receive friends Monday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. 322-4626. Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ 9715 East River Rd., Elyria. Burial will be at Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp..
